THREE HARES TALK

At Upton Pyne Village Hall on Fri 14th of November there is going to be a talk on the Three Hares by Tom Greeves and also a Devon Supper. This should be a really interesting evening.

Harvest Moon

I took this picture of the wonderful Harvest Moon this week, it was so beautiful and an amazing orange colour looking as if it was lit from inside, and just so huge! It is an image I love to paint and have captured it quite well I think in my paintings of the Three Hares.

New Visit Chagford Banner

We have just put up this large banner opposite the service station near the A30 hoping a few more people will be intrigued by the sign and come along to see Chagford.

HUNT OF VENUS

On Sunday we went to Widecombe-in-the-Moor to take more Trail leaflets to the church. I took this picture of the Three Hares boss in the church and the notice that is written about it which is interesting. We then had a fabulous cream tea at Higher Venton Farm which is only a short walk from the church just up the road past the Rugglestone Inn, a place I can really recommend.

Daffodils at St Michaels Church

The Daffodils lining the path to St Michaels Church here in Chagford are a picture at the moment, if you doing the Three Hares Trail, now is a good time to come to see the two bosses in this beautiful church. Remember to bring a torch though as one is in a dark part of the roof and if you can't find them you can always pop into my gallery and I will tell you where to look!
